Opera Sync not syncing everything

Burnout426 Volunteer last edited by With Opera 67.0.3575.97 64-bit on Windows 10 OS Version 1909 (Build 18363.720), Opera asks to save passwords no problem. Clicking "Save" saves the login info and it's still saved through a restart of Opera. (Fresh Opera profile and not using Opera Sync). Test with Google login too.If you've tried with a fresh profile, but enabled Opera Sync before trying, try with a fresh profile without enabling Opera Sync to see if Sync is the cause. Sync can cause all types of problems. Also, goto the URL opera://settings/passwords and make sure "Offer to save passwords" is enabled. Also, in the past, a couple of users said they had problems with Opera not saving passwords and found a fix. Their wifi connection in Windows was marked as public instead of private. Once they switched the connection to "private", things worked fine. For me though, it doesn't matter if my connection is public or private. But, it's something you can try.. Then, on the new Windows installation, you just start Opera (without importing Opera's own Sync feature supports syncing of opened tabs. There is a catch though. It just syncs them to the Opera Sync server where you goto the URL opera://activity (or the Tabs sidebar Step 1: Enable Sync in Opera GX. To sync Opera GX with another computer, you need to enable sync in Opera GX settings. Here’s how: Open Opera GX and go to Settings (gear icon) Click on Sync (gear icon) Select Sync from the dropdown menu; Choose Sync to all devices (or Sync to specific devices if you want to sync to specific devices) If you're installing Opera GX on a new installation of Windows or a different user account, you can create an Opera account so that you can log into it and use Opera Sync to sync some of your data. Then, you can log into Opera Sync in the new Opera GX and sync some of your data to it. This topic has been deleted. Like I never got asked to put a passphrase so I don't even know And i don't want to lose all my data (that already got deleted by recovery so i can't just re-sync afterward) leocg Moderator Volunteer @Ventus-exe last edited by @ventus-exe Passphrase is an extra password that you set up to encrypt your synced data. There is no way to change or remove it without removing synced data from the servers. When a passphrase is not used, only saved passwords are encrypted, using your Opera account credentials. So, if you change your Opera account password, you will need to inform the old one to decrypt the data with your old saved passwords. And that is the password (or passphrase) that Sync usually asks. twizy @Ventus-exe last edited by @ventus-exe l keep getting asked for a passphrase. I don't remember ever having created one. It won't let me sync without entering it. leocg Moderator Volunteer @twizy last edited by @twizy Check above, Sync/Opera is probably asking for an old Opera account password. twizy @leocg last edited by ![alt text](image url)@leocg Oh, l see. Thanks very much for your reply. I did have another Opera account ages ago. I don't think that l know the password for it. ![alt text](image url) twizy @twizy last edited by @twizy Don't know where the symbols in my reply came from. I must have clicked on something by mistake. kanikavatsyayan last edited by The passphrase is the password used for sync, not the one you use to sign in to Opera. Though I am not a hardcore Opera user, I believe opera would allow any user that remembers their password to get the passphrase. Here’s something that I found on the web.In your computer's Opera browser:Go to Settings.Click Advanced in the left sidebar, and click Privacy & security.Under Autofill, click Passwords.I hope it helps! Ventus-exe @kanikavatsyayan last edited by @kanikavatsyayan The probleme is that, I need that Passphrase to recover my passwords, My browser got reset so losing all my passwords was a big problem since it was my only way of knowing some of them but thanks for trying to help leocg Moderator Volunteer @kanikavatsyayan last edited by @kanikavatsyayan Passphrase is an additional password that you can add in order to protect your synced data. You login to Sync using your Opera account password, the sane used to login in these forums. As far as I know, passphrase is stored locally, so there is no way for Opera to recover it. CG-109 @leocg last edited by leocg @leocg are you shitting me? My computer is broke so I went to another one, tried to transfer

In the same spirit, we have made a new version of Opera Mini for Android to look and feel just as great. This beta version marks the start of a transition for Opera Mini on Android. Using the full-featured Opera for Android as a starting point, we created a lightweight browser that runs on Android 2.3 and higher. The beta shares many of its bigger sibling's features, including data-saving compression, bookmarks, Speed Dial folders, private tabs, and bookmark syncing. Sharing user interface with the full-weight Opera allows us to expand Opera Mini's feature set faster than the current version.Try it out and let us know what you think. Thank you for being a part of our beta testing. Please leave your feedback in the comments. You can get Opera Mini for Android beta here: Deleted User last edited by The icon of Opera browser for android will be updated to the flat icon? They still do not sync day to day.Specs: WIN 10 laptop, importing from Chrome to Opera on same computer. Why not?Once bookmarks are imported, how can you refresh them later (EX: 1 month) to just update the changes and not the entire set of bookmarks? Is it possible to import and merge in order to eliminate duplicates? Many Thanks,AdB newbie leocg Moderator Volunteer last edited by After initial installation of Opera, I imported all my bookmarks. After it have been done, you just add new bookmarks normally in Opera. fahim23f last edited by Hellowhen i change my windows so i forgot to save my bookmarks.is there a way to get back my bookmarks by my account sgunhouse Moderator Volunteer last edited by Only if you had enabled sync on the old system. If sync wasn't enabled the Opera's servers don't know what your bookmarks were. If sync was enabled, then enable it again on the new system - after a short delay your old bookmarks will appear.Though you shouldn't post new topics in other people's threads; you should have started a new thread for your question. yewgen43 last edited by Hello! I registered an account and logged Opera in it on three devices (laptop, tablet, smartphone). The goal was to synchronize bookmarks favorites and authorization information (usernames and passwords). However, synchronization is disabled. Nothing of what I have on the laptop nothing appears on the tablet or smartphone and Vice versa. I can not understand when a guaranteed authorization in the account what else can be problem with synchronization? What is in this case generally is sync and that it synchronicity?Thanks... leocg Moderator Volunteer last edited by Too many hijacks in this topic. Closing it.
