Clicking "Save" saves the login info and it's still saved through a restart of Opera. (Fresh Opera profile and not using Opera Sync). Test with Google login too.If you've tried with a fresh profile, but enabled Opera Sync before trying, try with a fresh profile without enabling Opera Sync to see if Sync is the cause. Sync can cause all types of problems.Also, goto the URL opera://settings/passwords and make sure "Offer to save passwords" is enabled.Also, in the past, a couple of users said they had problems with Opera not saving passwords and found a fix. Their wifi connection in Windows was marked as public instead of private. Once they switched the connection to "private", things worked fine. For me though, it doesn't matter if my connection is public or private. But, it's something you can try.

The folders from my desktop are showing up in my opera android browser...and vice versa. I think it's because I now have Bookmark App and it asked me to synchronize with the computer...Sweet! operamilleson last edited by Hi @davem148,If you sign into sync both on Opera for Android and Opera on your desktop you will be able to see your bookmarks in both browsers.To sign into sync in Opera for Android go to settings and select sign in. On desktop there is a button in the top right (icon looks like a person) that you can click to sign in.So if you use sync you don't have to mess with importing and exporting!

Though I am not a hardcore Opera user, I believe opera would allow any user that remembers their password to get the passphrase. They still do not sync day to day.Specs: WIN 10 laptop, importing from Chrome to Opera on same computer. Why not?Once bookmarks are imported, how can you refresh them later (EX: 1 month) to just update the changes and not the entire set of bookmarks? If sync wasn't enabled the Opera's servers don't know what your bookmarks were. I registered an account and logged Opera in it on three devices (laptop, tablet, smartphone). The goal was to synchronize bookmarks favorites and authorization information (usernames and passwords). However, synchronization is disabled. Nothing of what I have on the laptop nothing appears on the tablet or smartphone and Vice versa. I can not understand when a guaranteed authorization in the account what else can be problem with synchronization?
