Hi,Thanks for reaching out to us.>> trying to run any of the sample projects (vector-add-usm), We tried the same vector-add-usm code (from oneAPI samples) from our end which worked fine and the results are as follows.Running on device: Intel(R) Graphics [0x3ea0]Vector size: 10000[0]: 0 + 0 = 0[1]: 1 + 1 = 2[2]: 2 + 2 = 4...[9999]: 9999 + 9999 = 19998Vector add successfully completed on device. C:\Users\vbaddex\source\repos\Base_Vector_Add1\x64\Debug\vector-add-usm.exe (process 19772) exited with code 0.Our environment details:Microsoft Visual Studio Professional 2019Version 16.9.0OneAPI 2021.3.0Please note that if you are using Visual Studio 2019, samples will only work with version 16.4.0 and later.Could you please provide us the environment details (oneAPI toolkit version and VS-19 version) on which you are working ?Please find the below link for more details which tells about compatibility of VS with oneAPI proper integration with oneAPI, We should install the Visual studio first and then oneAPI toolkits,if Visual Studio is installed after a oneAPI Toolkit, integration will not be done properly resulting in the toolkit plug-ins being absent. For more details you can refer the below link:Executing samples from oneAPI the provided information might help you and do let us know if you face any issues.Regards,Vidya. Intel does not provide early versions freely and using an earlier version is not a good idea if you are doing real work. I left a note on the github page you are all referring to in your posts, it is 20 minutes work to download your required program to a clean machine with VS 2022 - Community, that does not need a license and the latest oneapi including the just released patches again no license.Following the VS instructions for cmake, I never use cmake, so I just followed the instructions and the cmake loaded and showed 2 errors. The path for the c compiler and it told you how to fix it in great detail in the error message. You should ask that question on the C++ compiler or the oneapi install page, as it gave no Fortran errors. I suggest that you spend your time solving the problem of using the latest and stop hunting for the snarks. I would say whatever version of oneapi you use you will have this problem, the paths are now pretty standard. The fact that the developer cannot provide an update on the cmake to the latest free products is interesting. The fact that the developer cannot provide a much simpler SLN solution is also interesting. If it does not have a GUI to look at the models, and the output then you should not use it.
