Creating Windows mouse cursors has never been so easy! With this expert of GConvert, you can turn any of your icons (and indirectly your other image files) into an original Windows cursor. A cursor is a Windows mouse pointer; Windows fully supports custom cursors that can be configured and installed through themes.Cursors have an hotspot: a pixel called the hot spot marks the exact screen location that is affected by a mouse event, such as clicking a mouse button. Typically, the hot spot is the focal point of the cursor. The system tracks and recognizes this point as the position of the cursor. For example, typical hot spots are the pixel at the tip of an arrow-shaped cursor and the pixel in the middle of a crosshair-shaped cursor. To convert an icon to a cursorOpen the icon source file in GConvert; then select the icon resource you want in the Main Viewer.Choose "Tools|Convert Icon to Cursor" and the expert will be displayed.GConvert by default selects the icon image that was highlighted in the Image Viewer. If you want to switch to another icon image, just press "Select Image" and select the new icon image. The selected icon image is drawn in the Preview window. GConvert also displays a red cross representing the hotspot. You can click anywhere on the preview image to change the hotspot to this new location. The coordinates (X,Y) of the hotspot are automatically actualized.Furthermore you can test your new cursor by pressing "Test cursor". In this case, the current mouse pointer will be changed into the new cursor during 30 seconds (or until you press Test Cursor again). Finally press OK and you will be asked for the filename of the output cursor file. Cursor files are given the .cur extension.Note that icons and cursors have similar file structures, and they both feature transparency. This is why it is so easy to convert icons into cursors and cursors into icons. You can even open your new cursor into GConvert after the conversion! Some important notesWindows only supports displaying 32x32 cursors. If you create cursors of different sizes, Windows will automatically. The hot pixels are caused by doing a hot pixel test. It puts too much strain on the camera pixels and they fail early. All three models at the 12GB mark or higher. For comparison, the Pixel 8 also has 8GB of RAM while the iPhone 15 has 6GB. For storage, the S24 starts at 128GB ($799.99) and maxes out at 256GB ($859.99). If you like carrying a lot of media with you, plan to take a lot of high-res video, or install large apps, get the 256GB model. The S24+ tops out at 512GB for $1,119.99 and the S24 Ultra with 1TB goes for $1,659.99.(Credit: Geekbench/PCMark/GFXBench)To make comparisons fair, I used a series of artificial benchmarks to test the S24. On Geekbench 6, which tests basic computing power, the S24 scored 2,260 on the single-core test and 6,893 on the multi-core test. On the same test, the S24+ scored 2,289 and 7,075. The Pixel 8, which uses Google's Tensor G3 processor, scored 1,171 and 3,119, though Google claims it tunes the G3 for AI performance and not benchmarks. The iPhone 15, which runs on Apple's A16 Bionic chip, pulled in scores of 2,607 and 6,231. Historically, Apple's SoCs have far outperformed Qualcomm chips, but the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 narrows the gap.The PCMark Work 3.0 test measures general mobile tasks. Here, the S24 hit a score of 17,399. For comparison, the S24+ scored 18,476, while the Pixel 8 hit 9,959. On the Basemark Web 3.0 browser test, the S24 scored an impressive 1,198, beating both the S24+ (988) score and the S24 Ultra (1,017). For gaming performance, I used the GFXBench Aztec Ruins test. The S24 managed to produce 85 frames per second (fps) at a resolution of 2,253 by 1,041 pixels. On the same test, the S24+ pushed 83fps and the Ultra reached 66fps. The iPhone 15 averaged 60fps.(Credit: Iyaz Akhtar)In real-world tests with Genshin Impact, one of the most resource-intensive mobile games available, the S24 provided a smooth experience with no slowdowns or dropped frames even at the highest settings. During a 15-minute session, the back of the S24 became warm, but not hot enough to become uncomfortable. The S24+ and Ultra didn't get as warm to the touch. Basic games like Alto's Odyssey or Mario Kart Tour ran without a hitch, were easy to play, and didn't cause the phone to get warm. Battery Life: Plenty of Pep for the DaySamsung boosts the capacity of the Galaxy S24's battery to 4,000mAh, a 100mAh increase over the S23. Wired charging maxes out at 25W, while wireless charging reaches 15W. Reverse wireless charging is also available at up to 4.5W, which can come in handy in a pinch. Samsung doesn't pack a charger with any of the S24 phones, so you need to supply your own. The Pixel 8 and the iPhone

On the bar.For a contour chart, there entire chart is a single continuous surface. The (x, y, z) value of the contour chart can change from pixel to pixel. In previous version of ChartDirector, the contour chart does not support tooltip. In ChartDirector 7, it is implemented as a "dynamic" tooltip that can change from pixel to pixel. The code in CChartViewer can detect if a hot spot is "dynamic". If it is, the CChartViewer will need to get an updated tooltip every time the mouse move.RegardsPeter Kwan Re: Questions while adjusting wxChartDir to Chartdirector 7 Posted by Ulrich Telle on Jun-18-2021 21:47 | Reply | Monitor Hi Peter, thanks a lot for your quick response. The two most significant changes in the CChartViewer are:High DPI support===========Yes, I saw that, too, of course. And in principle, wxWidgets has support for high DPI. However, my "problem" is that I currently don't have a high DPI screen at hand for testing. So, until I have found a way to test in high DPI mode, I will have to postpone adding high DPI support to wxChartDir. Hopefully only for a short period of time.We need to auto-detect whether the application is running in high DPI mode. Apart from drawing the chart in high DPI, we also need to map the MFC mouse and display coordinates to the chart coordinates. The custom mouse cursors (like the zoom in cursor) needs to be multi-resolution. Instead of hard coded the cursor file (*.cur) data in the CChartViewer, we
