Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question. I recall an application or prefpane that puts an icon in the menu bar to open a finder window. Can anyone remember what it is called? Webster Did you search MacUpdate of VersionTracker? They will both search descriptions as well as program names. I tried a few things at MacUpdate, but didn't get anywhere. Are you looking for a window that opens to a specific point? Otherwise, clicking on the Finder Dock icon opens a finder window based on Finder Preferences if none were open, and activates the topmost window if any are open.
